LifeCam VX-3000 Drivers Windows 10

Hi this camera will not install on Windows 10 due to the operating system advising its is out of date. The workaround is to download the VX-6000 drivers and install them manually. you can find the drivers here.

How to schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting from Teams

You can schedule Microsoft Teams meetings using your Outlook calendar.

Your calendar in Teams is automatically synced to your Outlook calendar.

Every meeting scheduled in Teams automatically becomes an online meeting.

To schedule a meeting in a chat window, select the icon that looks like a calendar in the chat below the box where you usually type your messages.

You can also go to the Calendar tab on the left-hand side of the app and click on New Meeting. 

Select a range of times within the calendar and Teams will open a scheduling form, where you can give your meeting a title, invite people, and add meeting details.

Microsoft Teams also has a Scheduling Assistant you can use to find a time that works for everyone.

Once you’ve got all the details ironed out, click Save. This closes the scheduling form and sends an invite to everyone’s inbox.

The Microsoft Teams Outlook add-in allows people to view, accept, or enter meetings from Teams, or Outlook.

To schedule a meeting, open Outlook and click on New Teams Meeting in the calendar view.

Add the people that you want to include in the meeting to the To field.

If you want a bunch of people to join the meeting at once, you can invite entire contact groups.

Add your meeting subject, as well as a location, start time, and end time, then click Send to inform your team.

Step 1. Download and launch zoom app for iPhone and Android or Zoom desktop clients to create and conduct a zoom meeting.

Step 3. At the bottom of the window, click “Invite” to invite others to the meeting. Then you can share by copying and pasting URL invitation into an email message.

Step 4. To schedule a meeting, select the “Schedule” option.

Step 5. Under zoom meeting settings, you will have to set the:

  • Topic
    Click the editable “Topic” field to enter the meeting title.
  • Start time and expected duration under
    Under “When”, specify the meeting “Start time”, “Duration” and the “Time Zone” from which the meeting will be hosted.
  • Video options when joining
    Mark either “On” or “Off” video for the host and participant when joining the meeting.
  • Audio options
    Select either “Telephone”, “VoIP Only” or “Both” for the audio.
  • Meeting options
    Mark the extra “meeting options” as desired. Opt for participants to use a password when joining, allow join before host or use personal meeting ID to join.
  • Calendar to use
    Choose the calendar to create an invitation with. If you select other calendars, you will be able to copy invitation to share on other calendar programs.
    Finally, select the “Schedule” button to proceed to copy the invitation to invite the participants.

Creating a group WhatsApp Call / Conference

Everyone has an Apple phone, right? Everyone has an Andriod phone yes? In this day and age, these are the two most popular devices to communicate. Whilst these are clearly great operating systems they have been designed not to talk as easily to each other. That’s why everyone uses “WhatsApp” you can freely create WhatsApp groups for keeping up to date with friends, family and interest groups. What’s not readily known is you can do Whatsapp Group Calling up to four people.

To make a group video call from a group:
  1. Go to the group you want to video call.
  2. Tap Group call .
  3. Search for or select the contacts you want to add to the call.
  4. Tap Video Call .
To make a group video call from the CALLS tab:
  1. Go to the CALLS tab.
  2. Tap New call  > New group call .
  3. Search for or select the contacts you want to add to the call.
  4. Tap Video Call .
To make a group video call from an individual chat:
  1. Open the chat with one of the contacts you want to video call.
  2. Tap Video call .
  3. Once the contact accepts the call, tap Add Participant .
  4. Search for or select another contact you want to add to the call. If prompted, tap ADD.
  • Make sure you and your contacts have strong Internet connections when placing or receiving group video calls. The quality of the video call will depend on the contact with the weakest connection.
  • When you receive a group video call, the incoming WHATSAPP VIDEO CALL screen will show the participants currently on the call, and the first contact listed will be the participant that added you.
  • During a group video call, you have the option to turn your video off by tapping Video off .
  • You can’t remove a contact during a group video call. The contact would need to hang up their phone to disconnect from the call.
  • Group video call history will appear in the CALLS tab. You can tap the call history to view the individual contacts from the call.
  • While it’s possible to be in a group video call with someone you’ve blocked, you can’t add a contact that you’ve blocked to the call or a contact that has blocked you.
